Actor Virgina Hey, most famous for portraying Zhaan in Farscape, has announced her retirement. On her official Facebook page, she announced that at age 67 and after a 49-year acting career, it is time for a rest. She also announced that she would be retiring from the convention circuit and that the Farscape 20th Year Anniversary in New York,which she called “a very special one-off event,” will be her only convention this year. The inability of Hey to continue in Farscape the original series back in 2001 due to health problems has not diminished Farscape fans’ love for her. We all wish her well.
